Description
This is a gently used lp by GRATEFUL DEAD titled HISTORIC DEAD. This pressing is the original first pressing from 1971 and it has never been released on cd. This was released by Sunflower Records & MGM Record Corp & it's #SNF-5004, stereo. This is a live recording from the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, 1966. See the pics for further details. The grading for the vinyl is a minimum of VG, rarely played. The vinyl is examined under a strong light by the naked eye. I don't have the equipment to play test these albums nor do I have a vacuum record cleaning machine, cloths, liquids, etc. The vinyl is still glossy and shiny but there is some spotting from sitting for over 50 years in the jacket. If you have record cleaning cloths & liquids, that'd be fine. The jacket is graded G or slightly better because of typical edge wear, ringwear, light scratches, scuffs, etc., around it. There's a small sawcut into the upper left front corner. This usually denotes the album as a cutout or promo. There's also a little writing in ball point pen on the lower right rear corner. This was a thing back in the days of old where some stores would razor slice the shrink wrap open and write the code & price. The original generic white inner sleeve is good with creased corners.
