GRATEFUL DEAD LIVE AT FOX THEATRE MO, 12/10/ 71- 5 LP SET " NEW " (READ )

This is an incredible 5 LP set of Grateful Dead's live recording at Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Mo on December 10, 1971. The limited edition box set includes rare photos and artwork, and features the iconic rock band's music in stunning stereo, 180g vinyl quality. Pig Pen is a part of the recording. Limited to 12,000. 
Rhino released this in 2021, and I had requested only a box replacement. The discs were fine, but Rhino did not care for packing for UPS trips, don't get me started...they still don't. Grrr! Instead of sending me a replacement box part, they sent me a whole bloody sealed copy with a really bad bottom breakout of the box. Worse than my copy (although my copy has more box blowouts). While this copy remains sealed (M- LPs), I declare the package/cover/box is VG- from that and a very small striation to the right of the box. The rest of it looks quite good, no corner dings BUT that bottom blowout is 5.2" across the bottom of the box. This copy won't be for the Dead fan who lives on the OCD edge for the box presentation. SO.... I say onto thee, this set is nothing short of spectacular. A little skill with dark blue electrical tape, and no one - not even your parakeet could tell - but I leave the repair up to you. Yes, it's still SEALED but the blowout spread apart the cello also, and I leave you with photos to judge. I'm letting this go to someone who wanted this set but can give it a home (and care for owning it on the cheap side. I'm starting bids for low, low money. It has a "Truckin'" and "Going Down The Road Feeling Bad" worth the full price, for sure.
