Description

Rare unofficial double Grateful Dead LP, Garcia's Gang, on Fugitive Records. The music is a selection of stuff from the band's last shows at the Fillmore East before it closed, on April 26, 27, and 28. One side features the three songs on the 26th when Duane Allman joined them on stage for Sugar Magnolia, Hurts Me Too, and Beat it on Down the Line. Another side features the AMAZING Dark Star > St. Stephen from the 28th, on which they were joined by former member Tom Constanten for the first time in over a year. One of the best Dark Stars ever. The other two sides are: Sing Me Back Home, Dire Wolf, Cumberland Blues, China Cat Sunflower; and one whole side of Lovelight. A great sounding bootleg of an all-time classic set of performances. The records have only been played once and are mint. The cover has a couple of creases but nothing too bad.
