Description
This is a hard-to-find vinyl copy of the 2011 Audio Fidelity numbered, limited-edition remaster of the Grateful Dead's 1978 album Shakedown Street. The cover is in beautiful near-mint condition, but the vinyl has a couple of minor issues that warrant a VG+ rating. At first glance the vinyl might also appear to be near-mint, but bright side light reveals some scuffing of the record surface, which may be related to the very light surface noise that can be heard between songs. At least to my ears, that surface noise does not affect the sound quality of the music. And make no mistake about it, the music really sounds great. If this weren't such a hard-to-come-by album, I might not list this copy, but because it is somewhat scarce as well as sought after, I'm offering a chance for someone to pick up an imperfect but very listenable copy at a greatly discounted price.
