Visually graded Vinyl: VINYL=MINT Minus, Jacket is *VG+*inside of gatefold, there are 2 spots that have small torn sections(see photos). Terre Haute Pressing. Original 2 page card lyric insert & WB Label sleeves included! Live/Dead is the first official live album released by the rock band Grateful Dead. Recorded over a series of concerts in early 1969 and released later the same year, it was the first live rock album to use 16-track recording. The title has a double meaning. It refers both to the band (the "Dead") playing live, and is an oxymoron, contrasting the two words in apparent contradiction. The word "Live" is seen on the front cover, and the word "Dead" fills the back cover of the gatefold. The top part of the word "Dead" on the back cover is a perceptual text ambigram which, when partially covered, spells "ACID". SO CLASSIC, SO DEAD, SO,.. COME ON ALREADY!!!!!
