Description

Double LP set from The Grateful Dead titled "Make Believe Ballroom - The 1975 Spotcheck" released by The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label (TAKRL 2979) in 1975. Bootleg double slab featuring The Dead recorded live at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco after a 19-month hiatus and just before releasing "Blues For Allah". Sound quality for a live bootleg is quite excellent and the performance was a special one with the band's energy and execution at a peek level. Records come housed in a plain white cardboard jacket with a loose slick that has a tattered left side.

All labels are in VERY GOOD condition with spindle trails and wear at centerhole. Vinyl record (1) is in VERY GOOD++ condition with some light sleeve fogging and some light surface marks. Vinyl record (2) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with some light sleeve fogging and a bit more heavier surface marks. There are no gouges on either record and neither record skips. Both records play with some background surface noises and stray tics but nothing overbearing or distracting,,,fidelity is excellent...still sounds great! Plain cardboard cover is in EXCELLENT condition. Loose slick with graphics has a tattered left edge. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.75 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
