You are bidding on one of the rarest GRATEFUL DEAD albums that exists. Released to radio stations in June 1981, ROCK AND RELIGION episodes #159 (side A) + #160 (side B) titled AN ANTHOLOGY OF RELIGION, DRUGS, AND ROCK AND ROLL which examines the connection between the psychedelic music and community created by The Dead (and others). Live and studio recordings, interviews and commentary weave an extremely entertaining story over the two radio episodes. I heard the original broadcast early one Sunday morning during the weekly public affairs programming on WGCL-FM (Cleveland) required by the FCC of each station. Typically these shows are much more boring! I drove to the station and was awarded the transcription album. Very few LPs were produced and this record has not been documented on Discogs (you can be the one!). I used to trade it on DAT back in the day - and no one was aware of the show. This expensive item is for the GRATEFUL DEAD collector that wants it all. HOLY GRAIL ITEM!
