PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
WILDLY RARE Lacquer Channel pressing on Grateful Dead Records, presumably from 1973, with two things I've never seen before - a strange PXT dead wax etching and an oversized circular United Artists distribution hype sticker in the top right hand corner on the rear cover inside the shrink wrap!!! Release year cannot be confirmed as there is not a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever. I have had well over 15 copies of this LP pass through my hands and I have never seen this variant before. Supremely rare. LP is a beautiful VG++ with two light scuffs on side 2. Cover has a top right hand corner promo clip and is still in the original shrink wrap. Even has the original orange Record City (R.I.P.) price sticker on the front! THAT'S provenance. Don't sleep Deadheads. If you've never seen it before you won't see it again.
