I am selling my copy of the Grateful Dead's second compilation double LP titled What A Long Strange Trip It's Been. It was originally released on Warner Brothers in August 1977. My copy is a "repress" from the following year 1978. You can easily tell this because of the white Warner labels on the vinyl. The original copy from 1977 has the Burbank street lined with palm trees on one side and eucalyptus on the other. This was Warner's label from 1973 to the end of 1977 and then beginning in 1978 they switched to an all-white label. A lot of copies of this double LP posted on ebay are advertising them as the original 1977 release when in fact they are not. Anyway the great news is that I grade both the vinyl as NEAR MINT!! If it wasn't for the fact that the shrink wrap was missing they could be graded as Mint. I have been the sole owner since I purchased this copy in 1978. The vinyl records were never played. I was buying a lot of records at the time and just never got around to playing this. The cover has absolutely no flaws to it. Again both the cover and vinyl records still look brand new. It has been stored in a non-smoking air conditioned environment since. The original inner sleeves are included and they are a generic white. The sleeves have no seam splits and no creases and are still quite white. You will not find a nicer-looking copy of this double LP anywhere.
