Description

On offer a rare stereo Vinyl album from the Grateful Dead entitled "Anthem Of The Sun". The  first issue was released during 1968; this  second USA  pressing differs from the original in that it has a remixed version of track one on side one which was overseen by the DEADS Phil Lesh; it was released in 1972 on the WARNER BROTHERS Records label WS 1749 (the same number as the first pressing)

CONDITION: The vinyl has retained a super deed gloss, when examined under a strong light there can be seen some feint paper scuffs which have zero impact on the superb sound reproduction created on audio playback. Both labels are extremely clean & tidy showing just two or three spindle trace lines, the edges to the spindle hole have no visible wear. The thick card outer sleeve, which differs from the 1968 cover in so far as the front image is printed with a white background and not a dark blue one has some corner /edge scuffs, there also exist a degree of age related discolouration to the front and rear surfaces.

I have rated the condition of the vinyl (visual & audio) as EXCELLENT and the cover with a VERY GOOD- grade; I use the Record Collectors grading guide lines.
