Description:Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring The Promise Ring.

Several unique things about this item: Firstly, this disc retains the original shine with no visible imperfections grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim this record is mint. Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. If you want an audio grade of an entire record (please request well in advance of the end of auction), no problem. You can then assign your own grade based on what I heard (SEE GRADING SCALE BELOW!).

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Artist: The Promise Ring Title: Nothing feels good Record: Gray vinyl with original shine with no visible imperfections, grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: Picture of an amusement park on each side. No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, a few spindle marks. Trailing wax: Side 1: "L-49175 JT-1035 A MB". Side 2: "L-49175X JT-1035 B RE1". Inner sleeves: A generic, white sleeve with a center hole tear. A different generic sleeve can be substituted, if requested. Cover: Cover shows no seam splits, no stickers, no pen/pencil marks. Slight general wear. Corners slightly worn with a few creased tips. VERY CLEAN! Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent), closer to VG+(excellent). You can assign your own grade based on my report of the conditions. Comments: Comes with a 4-page insert. Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. If an audio grade is provided (please request well in advance of the end of auction), you can then assign your own grade based on my comments and the scale shown below. Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship a single record in a standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 1 record mailer. Weight with box is 1 pound 1 ounces. Shipping is $3.22 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.20 box/tape/pack = $4.42.
Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 8 oz. Shipping is $3.22 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $4.92.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $4.00 This includes delivery confirmation which enables you to track shipping of your package online.
