Having a vivid memory of  his childhood days, when people hold a 45' in hands, as well as the acknowledgement that music have being engaged with all aspects of Greeks' life, Vassilis Chatziantoniou starts a long journey to imprint the early sound of Greece recorded on singles. His starting-point, the 50s, his ending-point, not known yet!! Its destination, Greek music.

'Volume B' constitutes the sequel of a book series specialized in the presentation of greek 45s' discography through the Record Companies and their subsidiaries, starting from Lyra records and continues with Music Box. The book is separated in two section. In the first part the reader can either remember or learn through 45s' cover photograhs. Whereas in the second part, the catalogues of  Music Box records and its subsidiaries (Decca, Pan Vox, Top Rank, CBS, Calypso, Ariola) from late '50s to early '70s give a precise knowledge about artists, titles, orchestra' directors, year.
So, it definatly deserves its position among record collections as it constitues a great companion guide to all vinyl collectors!!
