Description

SP11. Unique punk-metal hybrid that helped to define what became known as the Seattle Sound. This 5-song, 12" EP was the first release by a Seattle band to come out on Seattle's Sub Pop, and the second release by Green River (the first, Come On Down, was issued by Homestead). Singer Mark Arm went on to form Mudhoney (along with ex-Green River member Steve Turner) while bass player Jeff Ament and guitarist Stone Gossard left to start Pearl Jam. Recorded by legendary producer Jack Endino in '86 and released in '87, this 12" EP has a HUGE sound. One of the truly classic indie releases of the 80's. This copy is in excellent condition, and includes the yellow insert which came with the first 2000 copies. All sales final - no returns. Insurance included with shipping.
