This lists an album set of 4LP by COLUMBIA MASTERWORKS 98. GRIEG Piano Concerto No. 1 in A minor. Pianist: IGNAZ FRIEDMAN. Conductor: PHILIPPE GAUBERT. Album/cover Condition: VG; all 4 records are in excellent condition. It has been a while since I had considered not selling any 78 RPM record because it is heavy and very fragile. While the recording might be rare and fantastic music the shipping cost and chances of damage make it a very difficult transaction. Nevertheless, I changed my mind and here you have it… There will be more listings of “rare” recording – all classical. I purchased over 2000 records from a lady whom had them in her garage since her farther left them there. He was a Medical Doctor and music enthusiast. He had purchased them since late seventies, from a Record Store that was going out of business. I, being a Musicologist & LP collector, ran an ad on Craigslist asking to buy classical records. This lady answered my ad and to my surprise there she had many big boxes of 78 RPM records! Although I don’t have a decent 78 player, for the love of the music, I decided to purchase most of them from her. I am keeping some; have sold some – about 2-3 years ago. And now I have to get rid of most of them. If no buyer, I’ll donate them to a local thrift store. Trashing them will be my last option.

SHIPPING (domestic) of this item is $14.00 - NOT $4.00 as eBay controls. I will pack them wrapped in bubble-wrap and in a box surrounded by Styrofoam peanuts. Thank you for your consideration.
