PLEASE READ FULL LISTING BEFORE BIDDING.
This Auction is for Lp - Grounation by Count Ossie and The Mystic Revelation of Rastafari.
1973 Original Pressing on the Ashanti records label - NTI 301 - 3 x Record set in a triple fold sleeve & complete with 4 page booklet.
Side 1: Bongo Man (Traditional), Narration (Brother Sam Clayton).
Side 2: Narration continued (Brother Sam Clayton), Mabrat passin thru ( Charles Lloyd), Poem (Joseph Ruglass) , Four Hundred Years (Joseph Ruglass).
Side 3: Poem (Joseph Ruglass), Song (Joseph Ruglass), Lumba (Traditional), Way Back Home (Jazz crusaders).
Side 4: Ethiopian Serenade ( Brother Clayton), Oh Carolina ( Folkes Brothers), So Long (Traditional).
Side 5: Grounation (Traditional).
Side 6: Grounation Continued.
Vinyl is in Ex- condition - This is a Conservative Grading due to following -Side 1 - Record 1 there are a 2 x periods of clicks lasting about 5 or so seconds each in the 1st minute of track 1 - I believe this is due to the pressing as there are no visual marks in this area, Side 2 Record 2 has some very light marks but plays perfect, Side 1 record 1's label has some slight damage as can be seen in pic - overall the vinyl looks very little played and is excellent condition apart from the previous mentioned and retains a nice glossy shine.
The Sleeve I will grade as Good + condition as it has a lot of edgewear & a small tear on the front cover which is barely noticeable as it fits in well with the picture printed on the front .
The booklet is in very good condition - dog eared at bottom right hand corner but nothing major.
Vinyl Ex- - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Sleeve - The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
