GROUNDHOGS - SPLIT
1971 UK LIBERTY LBG 83401 (A1U & B1U)
Very nice original UK 1st pressing of 'Split'. There are always usually a few original copies listed on eBay, but most are marked, & have seen quite a lot of play. This copy on offer here Is In excellent clean condition, It has been well cared for, & only shows a few light signs of play. There are no nasty deep marks or scratches at all, & so no loud or repeated clicks or pops, & actually barely any traces of background crackle, & there Is no lessening In the albums excellent sound quality. A nice solid disc In nice condition, plays & sounds excellent throughout.
The labels are excellent, showing just a few short light spindle traces. The fully laminated 'E. J. Day' gatefold sleeve Is also In really great shape. Nice & clean inside & out, just some slight yellowing age discolouration around the edges on the white back sleeve, but showing barely any signs of ageing / creasing, or wear otherwise. All spine text Is still bold & clear, & easy to read. Again, a solid fully laminated gatefold with no bad flaws at all. The white poly-lined Inner sleeve Is nice & clean, with no marks, rips, or splits.
When shipped, the album will be removed from the outer gatefold cover, this will avoid seem splits during transit.
I will only send this Item by recorded post. I pack my records very well Indeed. I do not use flimsy record mailers. I use layers of very strong rigid cardboard, & waterproof tape. The Item will reach you In the same condition as advertised & pictured.
