Description
About This Item: Beautiful mint original LIBERTY LBS 83199 (UK) 1968 STEREO vinyl LP of Groundhogs "Scratching The Surface". The trail-off matrix number is LBS 83199 // 420. Archive original UK 1st pressing in mint condition. This is a GROUNDHOG SERIES printed by MacNeill Press Ltd., London original in a poly-lined inner bag. One original owner who played this once to transfer to cassette and then stored away with 5,000 other LP's never to be played again as you can see by the spidle hole which has a light mark on each side. There's not a scratch, a blemish of any kind to be found and lots of sheen. Same with the labels, just gorgeous. The fully laminated (front and rear) cover has been protected in it's original shrinkwrap all these years has dazzling gloss, no dulling or wear, no seam splitting or spine wear except for ever so lightly dinged corners mainly the upper and lower right and a couple of light creases, perhaps from moving from apartment to apartment here in NYC.
Tracks Include:
1. ROCKING CHAIR
2. EARLY IN THE MORNING
3. WAKING BLUES
4. MARRIED MEN
5. NO MORE DOGGIN’
6. MAN TROUBLE
7. COME BACK BABY
8. YOU DON’T LOVE ME
9. STILL A FOOL
Note: we just bought a massive collection of this ilk which you'll be seeing in the next few weeks/months. Most are one original (62 year old) owner who kept his collection with meticulous care.
