Grouper - “Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill” vinyl LP (self-released third pressing) black & white edition from 2010 (GR002)
Up for auction is a rare and OOP vinyl reissue (2nd repress) of the “Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill (DDD)” LP. I am the original owner (purchased directly from Mississippi /Little Axe Records at the time of it’s release). Since it’s purchase the record has been played twice, stored upright in a protective sleeve, and living in a smoke-free home!
The Vinyl is Ex (there is some surface noise (clicks & pops) on side B - I believe a pressing issue, since it was like this the first time I played the record). One pop is fairly significant. The surface noise is not constant. It only occurs on a few of the tracks.
The Sleeve is M- (NM). The vinyl is housed in the original black paper inner sleeve (which does have a 2 inch seam split) and comes with the original info sheet.
You ask: Why is he selling this? My answer: I hate to let this go, however my vinyl collection is going to take a minor hit to help with the expenses of being “new” parents (diapers, etc...).
Overall, a fantastic piece of vinyl goodness.
