ARTIST / TITLE : GRUPO SANTA CECILIA "BAILA EL BUMP"
LABEL : ORFEON (#LP 12-915)
CONDITION (Record/Cover) : VG/VG+
COMMENT : Original first pressing of this sought after and hard to find LP, issued in 1975 in Mexico only. A stunning Mexican Funk session, that contains 9 superb funky Afro/Latin dance rhythms tracks ; most of these are original compositions but "Solo viva para ti" is an outstanding version of Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing" with warm and delicious Fender Rhodes sounds, and "Tu eres la primera, la ultima y mi todo" is a cool cover of Barry White's hit "You're the First, the Last, My Everything". One of the funkiest albums to come out of Latin America in the vein of stuffs like Black Sugar, Rabbits & Carrots etc...
The vinyl presents several visible marks and scuffs, it plays and sounds fine with a few clicks here and there, loud production sound, you can judge by yourself with the long audio sample which is recorded from the actual record on offer. The sleeve presents signs of seam wear from storage but nothing too bad, no tears, no splits, it is in nice condition overall. Very Rare!

EX = Record in superb condition, very rarely played, may present slight visible marks but no audible ones. Sleeve may present slight signs of natural aging.
VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ringwear...
VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...
VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
