Records Grading
Please note that due to Italian regulations there might be a sticker on the sleeve or on the label of the record. This is to preserve the copyright of the record.
Since most of the records are second hand, there might be stickers on the sleeve and or stamps on the label from the record shops where these records were bought.
Additional information (different from what above described) on the condition of the vinyl and or label are written in every record listing. If you need extra information about the records, email us! However, if you are not satisfied with the condition of the record, you can return it to us (please refer to shipping page for return policy)
Standard for grading the condition of Vinyl and CD We listen to all our records before putting them on sale! Please note that the grading refers only to the sound of the vinyl (i.e. not to the sleeve package); therefore, for instance, if the vinyl has (surface or deep) scratches but plays perfectly we will list it as excellent or very good.
Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
Very Good (VG) Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a songs intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise.
Good (G) Good Plus (G+) Crackles, pops or other annoying noises, but not always continuously. It can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping.
Fair (F) Poor (P) The record is cracked, badly warped, and wont play through without skipping or repeating.
