Description
An original Rockathon Records pressing from 1992.
This is a comp copy of the breakthrough LP from Guided By Voices, given to a
local radio programmer by Ron House (Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments
and GBV insider) and was received in a plain white cardboard / label hole cover.
It doesn't have one of the individually numbered, hand made art covers (which
were numbered to 500). This copy has a plain white card outer and plain white
paper inner, with label hole. Assumed to be a test pressing, though that would
be a guess, not confirmed. (I did write to the GBV info site, but received no answer)
The label is hand drawn, felt tip, including the "snake" image found on a number of the custom covers. See Photos
The run-off groove on Side A has hand letter "Old Age No Age" and the "snake" drawing .
The run-off on AA says "Amrep Tellegewe" (?) and the
"snake" drawing.
