Heavens To Betsy! How often do you come across one of these? Up for auction we are offering a STONE-MINT, STILL SEALED and Long Out of Print copy of the Guided By Voices SIX (6) LP box set titled, simply, "Box", and released by Scat Records back in 1995. This magnificent, essential collection includes the first five GBV albums -- "Devil Between My Toes", "Sandbox", "Self-Inflicted Aerial Nostalgia", Same Place The Fly Got Smashed", and "Propeller" -- PLUS an additional sixth LP of previously unreleased recordings between 1988-1993 entitled "King Sh**t and the Golden Boys". An astonishing 87 tracks in all (far, far too many to mention here: for complete track listing and other details on this and every other GBV release, we recommend consulting the awesome GBVDB.com website). Albums come housed in a sturdy black carboard box with stickered front (see our scan for detail). Each vinyl long-player is also presented in a black-and-white reproduction of its original album sleeve! Hear where young Bob Pollard first found his muse to build the high-flying power-rock bird known as the indestructible G-B-V!
