GUIDED BY VOICES - FREEDOM CRUISE/NIGHTWALKER - split 7" - RARE GROUP OF ITEMS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION - SOME ITEMS ARE ONE-OF-A-KINDS!

The RARE GUIDED BY VOICES (ROBERT POLLARD) "FREEDOM CRUISE/NIGHTWALKER split 7" was released by me on my label SIMPLE SOLUTION RECORDS in 1994. These items being offered in this listing are items I never planned to get rid of but money is tight and I have way too much stuff lying around so here is your chance to own some RARE and UNIQUE GbV items! Here is what you get....

ONE SET OF ORIGINAL STAMPERS FROM THE PRESSING PLANT! One "SIDE A" with "WC RULES" in the lead-out groove and one "SIDE B" with "NORTHRIDGE ROCKS" in the lead-out groove. These stampers were used to press the original first pressing copies of the record. Also include is the original envelopes the stampers were shipped in from INGRAM RECORD PLATING with misc notes from the press operators at MUSICOL.

ONE COMPLETE SET OF UNUSED RECORD LABELS! Two from each pressing (one from each side)! A total of four labels - These are really RARE! This is the only unused set of these labels in the world!

ONE ORIGINAL TEST PRESSING! Only TEN test pressings were pressed, all on WHITE vinyl. Tests were done only for the first pressing, not the "Juke Box Edition".

ONE COPY OF THE FIRST PRESSING! The first pressing of this record was 1000 copies. The first 200 copies were on ORANGE vinyl, the last 800 were on GRAY or BLACK vinyl. I took the time to number the first 200 ORANGE copies on the inside paper sleeve. Just before pressing my ORANGE copies the pressing plant was pressing BLUE vinyl records for another label. The very first copy of this record came out BLUE and by the time the tenth copy was pressed it was almost totally ORANGE. THE COPY INCLUDED HERE IS COPY #0001 - THE ABSOLUTELY FIRST COPY PRESSED! TOTALLY BLUE! SUPER RARE!

ONE COPY OF THE "JUKEBOX EDITION" (SECOND PRESSING)! All 1000 copies of the second pressing were BLUE vinyl, but the pressing plant was pressing WHITE vinyl records for another label just before mine so the first ten copies or so ended up as varying shades of BLUE. This was one of the first five copies pressed and is mostly SKY BLUE! ANOTHER SUPER RARE ITEM!

The last item in this listing is the ORIGINAL HAND-DRAWN "FREEDOM CRUISE / NIGHTWALKER" SPLIT 7" STICKER LAYOUT. Measures 2" x 5 1/2". Hand drawn by JOE KIMBALL (CATHARSIS RECORDINGS). Joe is a former employee of my store TRADER VIC'S MUSIC EMPORIUM and also did the cover of my CIGARHEAD record and the "Basket Case" record by the METHOD (NATE FARLEY) on CATHARSIS RECORDINGS
