GULLIVER’S TRAVELS: Songs and Scenes (Victor Bluebird set BC-23, B-555-B-557). A Max Fleischer cartoon record collectible! This is a rare set of 3 78s of story and songs from the film – not from the soundtrack itself, though. Narrated by Craig McDonald. Issued in 1939, the records are in their original Bluebird sleeves and they come in a specially-designed outer sleeve jacket (pictured below) with a special color illustration. Very rare set, especially with the outer jacket, which is on very flimsy paper. Condition of the records and inner sleeves is beautiful -- near mint condition! The outer jacket is in worn shape, with seam splits halfway down the sides, and tears on the front cover, which were repaired with tape long ago, which has now discolored. Could easily be repaired, as the whole jacket is there and the sides could all be reinforced with tape -- see photos. NO RESERVE! High bidder pays $6.00 for priority mail and packing.
