GULLIVER'S TRAVELS - Same Instant UK 1968 Original.
Totally bonkers concept sound collage/ soundtrack that was quickly withdrawn. Some view this as an incomprehensible mess, others as a way ahead of it's time example of an experimental ambient/ sampling LP, similar to KLF's Chill Out or something. It's certainly a trip with loads of backwards tapes, effects, electronic noises and is full of surprises. In amongst the chaos you also get 2 versions of the rather nice Mike D'Abo original pop sike title track sung by him and in choral form, along with a weird Bonzos like rendition of the Small Faces Afterglow. You get cut ups of various Small Faces tracks from Ogden's with effects over them and turned backwards, snatches of The Nice and Zodiac's Cosmic Sounds and avant garde orchestral pieces. Phew. Probably a fantastic idea in the mind of Andrew Loog Oldham on LSD or a very stoned discussion at Immediate where it all made perfect sense. The reality is a very interesting period piece and great artifact of psychedelic ffolly. A few scuffs on B side but plays EX, sleeve very nice too..

Gradings Used
M I never use this grade for second hand records.
M- Almost as new, no noticeable marks.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.
VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
G Quite heavily marked. Will not skip or stick, but will play with significant noise, repeating clicks etc.
