GUN “Gun Sight” rare orig UK acid psych rock lp M-

1970/Cdn/Epic BN 26551…..this is a clean original Canadian pressing of their rare 2nd lp. The cover is in Excellent condition, there is neat drill hole bottom right corner and just very mild aging along the left edge, otherwise solid and clean with virtually no wear, writing, splits, or any other issues! The vinyl is in EX to M- like new condition and has a bit of a hazy appearance, the vinyl plays clean with excellent fidelity! The labels are clean with no wear and only a couple of very light spindle marks! A sweet copy for your collection! The Gun were an acid rock band formed in 1967, in London, England. The band released two albums after being signed to CBS Records in early 1968. They scored a hit off their self titled album, with "Race with the Devil", issued as a single in October 1968. A fan of the song Jimi Hendrix performed it at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970, although no recordings appear to exist. Unfortunately they were unable to score any other hits, despite other singles such as "Drives You Mad". Their debut album is also noteworthy for the cover art, the first album art done by artist Roger Dean. Their second album, Gun Sight, was a flop producing no hits but included tracks such as, "Long Haired Wildman" and "Drown Yourself In the River". However the lack of schlagers led to the band's end leaving the Gurvitz brothers free to go to work with Ginger Baker the former drummer for Cream as, The Baker Gurvitz Army.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
