GUN. 1968 SELF TITLED LP. ORANGE CBS LABEL. CBS 63552. FIRST PRESSING. SBPG 63552 A1/SPBG 63552 B1 MATRICES. EXCELLENT+ TO NEAR MINT.

My listening equipment is a highly revealing Roksan Xerxes/Artemiz/Shiraz turntable, JDI pre/power amplification and Castle speakers.

Played on that system this LP grades Excellent+ to Near Mint with just a trace of very minor background noise to occasional quiet parts. For the ultra-critical it's at least Excellent+ for everyone else, it's Near Mint. The single slip cover is laminated on the front and is in excellent condition with just minor creasing to the laminate and a little rubbing to the spine. In fact, an unusual design feature of this LP is the way the unlaminated spine folds underneath the front cover (I should have taken a photo); this means the spine is very thin - it's actually no wider than the top or bottom seams - and more prone to wear.
