GUNS N' ROSES: USE YOUR ILLUSION I
This played very well on my Record Player without "sticking", "jumping" or "ticking". On Vinyls, it's normal to see very fine non-disruptive scratches, and this is no different! There are lots of them. Despite no "disruptive crackling", I'd still only like to Grade it as "VG+" - it probably looks worse than it is.
I've tried to fill in as many Item Specifics as I could.
The Outer Sleeve has numerous little "spidery-creases" along top, bottom, side, front & back, but otherwise intact!
The Inner Sleeves have a few obvious creases, but are also otherwise intact!
Have tried to show all of the above in Images.
Overall, I could have been happier, but this still may be better than most out there, and also better than one you might be trying to replace.
This hit the Official UK Chart in late September 1991, reaching No.2, and spent 84 weeks in the Chart - 20 Months! It has these Hit Singles:
Live And Let Die, a Number 5 hit, the magnificent November Rain, number 4. Garden Of Eden and Dead Horse reached Number 11 as part of an EP called The Civil War. (have Guinness Hit Singles & Albums Book as reference). Am likely to have bought this very soon after release, but can't really remember.
Matrix Numbers. Normally a struggle, but this seems clear as they all end in "1"! Now, there are more writings on the runouts, and they are:
030 DM T- 5442A- (?) II DMMI STERLING
only differences are "B" & "IV"
then "5A" & "III"
and "B" & "V". Someone out there may know what all that means!
I "cleaned" it with a record cloth before playing, as always, but am sure everyone knows what static does, so expect to clean it again!
Having put all my Records in order early last year (took several weeks!), I've started to play through them for the first time in nearly 30 years - very enjoyable so far - but with space having to be freed up now (this has been in 4 different houses with me), this is the 144th of 366 Artist L.P.'s which I started with (am keeping 87 of them so far), with a further 40 Comedy or Compilation L.P.'s.
