The heavy vinyl with high groovewalls provides a fantastic audio experience with channelling not equalled by the later CD version. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing Rotel amp and B&W three way speakers!!! A beautiful CLASSIC with supreme songcraft, a joy to listen to!!!!
When speaking about Krautrock, GURU GURU were often neglected and put in the "second division" of that music style, after the "big four": CAN, FAUST, NEU and AMON DUUL II. But, their third album "Kaenguru" is easily the best of their early, classic line-up trio of Neumeier, Trepte and Genrich. Filled with crazy and nonsense lyrics, extended space jams and druggy guitar solos, this album is a high point of their first phase, before going into more jazzy exploration on the subsequent albums. "Oxymoron" and "Ooga Booga" are a required portion of any self-esteemed Krautrock collection.(from progarchives.com)
Vinyl: EX++/NM. I'm very happy to be able to present this gem in this marvellous condition. Most likely unplayed . The audio is simply sublime played on my Technics deck with Linn Sondek cartridge and through my rotel amp and B&W speakers. This really heavy vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that went largely unnoticed at the time. Great replay on my premium sound system without any skips or jumps or anything else untoward. No clicks etc. The labels still retain their beautiful original appearance.
Sleeve: EX. INCREDIBLE! A fantastic looked after laminated sleeve . Incredibly, no wear on the edges and spine, the opening is super crisp as on day one of its existence (now 51 years old). NO damage, NO tears, NO writing or stickers, light wear to the top edge on the rear, a lovely example of this beautiful classic prog album!
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
