Description
About This Record. This is an original USA copy of John Lee Hooker's very first LP with the very first Maroon Dee-Jay Records label. These never turn up and the vinyl is a Keeper copy as these things go. Comes with John Lee's Obituary which was published by Goldmine Magazine in their July 27, 2001 issue. Boy was I sad :) This LP is NOT a reissue. Good luck.
Cover: Good Plus (G+). The spine is almost totally split, and the bottom seam is about 1/2 split, top seam shows wear but the front and back covers show well with just light wear.
Vinyl: Very Good Plus (VG+) with light visual issues from paper marks and some fairly meaningless scuffs. Just not in EX condition IMHO but a definite keeper that will be hard if not impossible to improve upon.
Labels: Excellent (EX) with spindle wear around the holes but no writing or tears or other major wear.
Shipping: All my records come carefully packed after I clean them on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place them in a new rice-paper sleeve equivalent so they will be ready for you to play.
