Description

Gabby Pahinui Gabby LP   Panini Records '72

The first in a series of albums released in the 70s that rejuvenated his career, often referred to as The Brown Album. Pahinui had been around since the late 40s, using the slack-key style of guitar playing unique to Hawaii. The Hawaiian Renaissance of the 70s gave Pahinui greater exposure, and this album, in particular, is as good an introduction as any to Hawaiian music in general. Record is vg++, very slight surface noise between tracks, gatefold jacket is vg to vg+, shows wear along the edges, no seam splits. I've seen three different label variations, and I don't know where this particular one falls in the chronology. Buyer pays shipping, eBay will tell ya how much. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.
