Disco de vinil de 1973, de Gabriel García Marquez leyendo el cuento "Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes". El disco fue editado por la Editorial "El Ojo del Camello", en Caracas. Este disco se vendía acompañado con el libro "Cuando era feliz e indocumentado", que recoge diversos ensayos periodísticos de Garcia Marquez realizados para la Revista Momento entre 1957 y 1959, años en que Garcia Marquez vivía y trabajaba como periodista en Venezuela. 
La primera edición fue terminada de imprimir el 28 de Mayo 1973, era la primera edición venezolana de ese libro, y fue lanzada al mercado junto al disco de vinil en Junio de 1973 . El ejemplar que ponemos en subasta es la Segunda Edición, del 31 de Julio de 1973 con el disco original con el que se vendía. 
La primera edición colombiana de "Cuando era feliz e indocumentado" es de 1979, así que posiblemente la edición venezolana de 1973 es la primera de todas. Aunque es necesaria más investigación para determinar eso.
En el disco se oye a Garcia Marquez leyendo su cuento "Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes", escrito en 1968 y publicado en 1972 en el volumen "La increíble y triste historia de la cándida Eréndira y de su abuela desalmada". 
Poco hemos podido averiguar de la editorial "El ojo del camello", además de ese volumen, tiene muy pocos títulos publicados. Es de suponerse que GABO tendría algún vínculo con la editorial, ya que es extraño que la primera edición de un libro (además con un disco), posterior al éxito de Cien Años de Soledad (1967), fuera para una editorial nueva.

Vinyl record of 1973, with the recorded voice of Gabriel García Marquez reading the story "Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes (A very old man with huge wings)". The album was edited by the Editorial "Ojo del Camello", in Caracas. This album was sold with the book "Cuando era feliz e indocumentado (When I was happy and undocumented)", which includes several journalistic essays by Garcia Marquez made for the magazine "Momento" between 1957 and 1959, years in which Garcia Marquez lived and worked as a journalist in Venezuela.
The first edition was finished printing in May 28, 1973, it was the first Venezuelan edition of that book, and was released to the market next to the vinyl record in June of 1973. The copy that we put in an auction is the Second Edition, of July 31 of 1973 with the original disc with which it was sold.
The first Colombian edition of "Cuando era feliz e indocumentado (When I was happy and undocumented)" is from 1979, so possibly the Venezuelan edition of 1973 is the first of all. Although more research is needed to determine that.
On the album Garcia Marquez is heard reading his story "A very old man with huge wings", written in 1968 and published in 1972 in the volume "La increíble y triste historia de la cándida Eréndira y de su abuela desalmada (The Incredible and sad story of Candid Eréndira and his soulless grandmother)".
Little we have been able to find out from the publishing house "Ojo del camello", besides that volume, has very few published titles. It is assumed that GABO would have some link with the publisher, since it is strange that this book were published I a new editorial after the success of "Cien años de soledad" (1967)
