Description
Here is a very rare 45 RPM record of The String Kings on the Gaity label from Minneapolis, Minnesota, released in 1959. This record is in pretty rough condition. It has a severe level of scratching and scuffing on both sides, and has ink on the label, as shown. Note that I shot some of the photos of the record such that the label is very over-exposed and washed out in order to get more detail to show up in the groove area to show the condition. I played this record on both sides, and despite the heavy scratches and scuffing, it played through without any skips on my Newcomb record player. There was some significant noise from the damage, though. The music from this record can be found online or on later releases, but the original record is quite scarce, and here is a chance to become the owner of a copy. As I noted, it does play and can be played, though when you want to hear these songs, you'll likely want to listen to them on some later release that you likely already have.
