Description
Michigan Brand Nuggets on Belvedere TY-87100. Very rare Detroit double-album garage comp, pressed twice, both times in numbered editions of 1000. This is the first (red label) issue, number 264. Great artwork, great liner notes, great bands. Includes the early MC5 songs originally issued on AMG and A-Square, which are impossibly rare. Lots of early and rare Bob Seger, Rationals, Underdogs. Also represented are the Unrelated Segments, Woolies, Shy Guys, Terry Knight and the Pack, Human Beings, Tidal Waves, Question Mark and the Mysterians, Southbound Freeway, Wanted, Amboy Dukes, Tim Tam and the Turn-Ons, and Ormandy. LP creator Risty brilliant paired of Jack Van Impe's crazed anti-rock and roll rant (the beat makes girls want sex) with Bob Seger's Heavy Music Part 2. It's worth the price of admission for that alone.
Both disks are beautiful M-. Cover has only light wear. Front pocket has six-inch seam split at top and four-inch split at bottom. Rear pocket has one-inch split at bottom, tiny beginnings of one at the top. A great copy of a rare and very cool garage comp.

GRADING
M- A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG+ Full gloss, a few light marks. A very, very attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG More marks and scratches, but still a nice record. Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG- Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems. Not a beautiful record, but still serviceable, not junk.
G+ and G Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
