"Beautiful Garbage" is the third album by alternative rock group Garbage. The album was released worldwide in October 2001 by Mushroom Records UK and in North America by Interscope and was the follow up to the band's Grammy-nominated Version 2.0. Marking a departure from the sound Garbage had established on their first two records, "Beautiful Garbage" was written and recorded over the course of a year, during which time lead singer Shirley Manson chronicled their efforts weekly online, becoming one of the first high-profile musician's to keep an internet blog. "Beautiful Garbage" debuted at #1on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums, topped the album charts in Australia, and was named of Rolling Stone's "Top 10 Albums of the Year". More diverse than their first two studio albums, musically more melodic, lyrically more direct, "Beautiful Garbage" featured contempory hip hop fused with electronica with influences coming from Eighties new wave to Sixties girl groups. This record is the 2001 UK Mushroom Label Double Vinyl lp with all the inserts in MINT Condition. The catalog # on the spine is: MUSH95LP. The bar code matrix# is: 5 034644 009513. The record that has side 1 and side 2 still has the spindal wax..meaning..it has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. The other lp visually looks MINT! I have NEVER played this lp as it is the Rare UK Import Pressing, plus I have this on CD, of which I think is the best Garbage record. Super Rare on Vinyl! Album was stored in a heavy duty anvil case since 2006 and comes from a smoke/pet free home. Shipped following business day as soon as payment is made.
