Description

LP Vinyl Record - Sound Track Scenes from MGM Garbo Classic Movies

Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage vinyl LP album entitled, Garbo! Please excuse any glare in the photos. This is not music or a film that you watch; it is audio recordings of some film scenes (dialogue) on vinyl. According to the cover, this album includes "Scenes recorded from original MGM motion picture sound tracks. Also featuring the voices of Marie Dressler, Clark Gable, Lionel Barrymore, John Barrymore, John Gilbert, Fredric March, Robert Taylor, Charles Boyer, Melvin Douglas." There is a foreword by Walter Pidgeon, and there are scenes from the following movies: Grand Hotel, Queen Christina, Camille, Conquest, Ninotchka, Susan Lenox, Anna Christie, Anna Karenina, and Mata Hari. This includes the album, its white paper sleeve, and the folding cover which has photos and film information printed on it. The back of the cover says, "This album appears in conjunction with the Greta Garbo Film Festival, a release of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures." I have more Garbo items on eBay this week, and will happily combine multiple items for shipping for actual shipping costs.

Condition
The item photographed is the exact item for sale here. The cover is in good condition, with some minor corner/edge wear and creasing, light edge yellowing, and minor surface scuffing. The inner sleeve has minor edge wear. I have not played this because I do not own a record player. Visually, the record looks very good, with no visible scratches and no warping. Please review the photos, and ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing.

TERMS OF SALE (the not fun but unfortunately necessary fine print)

Please read carefully before you bid or buy. Below is some information about how we do business, and there are some terms which are necessary due to the very small contingency of irresponsible online buyers.

1. Sales Tax
If an item is to be shipped to a California address, a sales tax of 8.75% will be collected, unless the buyer provides a valid, completed, original, signed California resale certificate form by mail. The resale certificate should include information as required by the California Sales and Use Tax Law. The resale certificate must be provided before the item is shipped, if you do not want to pay sales tax. I can not make exceptions to this policy. If you do not pay the sales tax or supply a valid resale certificate, I can not ship your parcel.

2. Item Descriptions and Images
Most of the items that I sell are vintage and/or used, so I make every attempt to disclose all damage to items and to provide a detailed description and photos. I try to accurately portray the color of the item, but please be aware that different computer monitors/graphics cards can display colors differently; the color may look different on your screen than it does on mine. If you have a specific color question, please ask for clarification before bidding or buying. I do not claim to be a professional regarding this item. My items are not sold on approval. If you have any doubt on an item's attribution or identification or authenticity, please do not bid or buy. Under no circumstances will I provide a partial refund for merchandise. Be sure to ask all questions before you bid or buy. If I suspect fraudulent activity from a buyer or potential buyer, I will report my suspicions to local law enforcement and to eBay. All items are sold "AS IS." Our images and descriptions may not be used without the express permission of user craigkc. Users in violation of eBay's plagiarism rules will be reported to eBay. I usually remove item images after the listing ends. If you are the buyer and you need the images after I have removed them, please ask and I'll re-post them.

3. Confirmation of Purchase
If you are the buyer on this listing, please confirm your purchase within three days of the listing's end by sending me your name and address.

4. Payments
Buyer to prepay before merchandise is shipped. You may use Paypal.com payment services. Buyers outside of the U.S.: Paypal payments over $250 will only be accepted if I am shipping to an address that has confirmed status with Paypal. This does not apply to repeat customers or international buyers who contact me before bidding or buying. All payments must be received within seven days of the end of the listing. If you can not provide payment within seven days due to emergency, you must contact me within that seven day period to inform me of the situation.

5. Shipping
Insured media mail within the United States costs $3.95. The other shipping choice for $8.95 includes insured shipping within the lower 48 U.S. states via USPS priority or FedEx ground (the method will be chosen by the seller). A physical address is required for FedEx ground shipping. If the buyer prefers a shipping method other than media mail or other than what the seller has chosen, actual shipping costs will be charged. For non-media mail parcels going to Alaska or Hawaii, actual shipping costs will be charged. Actual shipping costs will be charged for all combined shipping parcels (parcels containing items from more than one eBay lot).

Actual international shipping costs will be stated on the eBay invoice after the listing ends. I do not use first class mail international as a shipping method. I will ship most items internationally, but be aware that shipping rates may be higher than rates within the U.S. Upon request, I am happy to provide a shipping quote to areas outside of the contiguous United States. Some items may be too large to be shipped internationally. International buyers are responsible for knowing the parcel size limitations, weight limitations, and prohibited items for shipping to their country through the U.S. postal service. If you are uncertain whether an item can be safely and legally shipped to your country, please ask questions before bidding or buying.

I typically ship two times per week, usually on Mondays and Thursdays, unless a holiday or special circumstance precludes it. If you pay with an online payment service, your item will be shipped on my next shipping day after your payment clears (e-checks take several days to clear). I am not responsible for the transit time once the item(s) has been accepted by the shipping carrier. In the unlikely event of damage or loss, a claim will be made with the carrier. Claims need to be filed within the time limitations of the carrier. I pack merchandise carefully, and have extensive experience in shipping fragile items.

International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts. US and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.

6. Disclaimer of Liability
I assume no responsibility for use or misuse of items. If you are under the age of 18, do not bid or buy without the consent of your parents!

7. Other Information
I do not use "Second Chance Offers." As an underbidder, if you receive a "Second Chance Offer," it is not originating from me; as such, it is fraudulent and should be reported to eBay.

Acceptance of Agreement
By bidding or buying, the buyer acknowledges their understanding and acceptance of the above terms and conditions as a binding agreement.
