Original 1st Press US LP released in 1966 on Impulse! Records. Cat: A9112. Features Van Gelder stamp in runout groove. This album is in MONO. Comes in heavy weight gloss gatefold sleeve.
An excellent collection of McFarland originals performed at Lincoln Center by a stellar orchestra of jazz luminaries including Clark Terry, Bob Brookmeyer, Zoot Sims, Phil Woods, Richie Kamuca, Richard Davis, Gabor Szabo, Sam Brown, and others.
Tracks : Winter colors/ Willie/ Sage hands/ Bygones & boogie/ Mountain heir/ Milo's other samba.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has a few light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Heavy weight gloss gatefold sleeve has a few tiny marks and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
