GARY MOORE Blues Alive (Rare 1993 UK limited edition 13-track double LP featuring a blistering collection of tracks recorded live during his 1992 tour complete with full colour picture inners and fold out poster insert & individually numbered single pocket picture sleeve. The outer sleeve shows minor edge wear and very slight creasing which is negligible. The number 05973 is displayed to the bottom right.
The 2 inner printed colour sleeves are excellent with photos and track listings. The rare fold out poster with photographs and text is present and in excellent condition. The two LPs do have very light hairline marks but they cannot be felt and both discs are excellent with very clean surfaces and labels with only light spindle wear. There are no additional labels stuck on anywhere and no writing present. Excellent example for a 1993 collection.
I despatch by signed for delivery and tracking in reinforced cardboard cases. I pack sleeves and discs separately and include a good plastic outer for storage. 

REVIEWS :
If there is a better example of high octane blues/rock guitar playing out there I have yet to hear it, and I've been playing and listening for over 30 years. Gary had "it" all...the tone, touch, technique, dynamics, taste etc etc, but above all else, (and this is what elevates him above all other players in my opinion), he had unparalleled amounts of soul and passion. The guy put his heart on the line with every performance, and played every note like it was all that mattered. It didn't surprise, me, (though I'm still gutted nearly 4 years on), that he died of an heart attack. I reckon we've all got only so much to give, and he did so, consistently for over 40 years.
Of course the blues snobs/purists will argue that he played too many notes, that he showboated too much, that he played too loud blah de blah, but nowhere is there a "Blues Bible" that says it has to be played "just so". Playing with conviction and feel is what matters, and volume/number of notes is irrelevant. Gary pandered to this nonsense, and toned down his playing for a few years, to be more "authentic", but I think he realised that in fact he was being less so...he wasn't being true to himself...and his last performance showed that he was getting his fire back.
There are lots of terrific players out there in this genre...Joe B, Simon McBride, Ben Poole, Phillip Sayce etc who continue to carry the torch, but everyone of them will admit that a "light" went out when Gary left us
