Description
Gary Numan Tubeway Army 'Are Friends Electric?'
This copy of Tubeway Army's 7" single 'Are Friends Electric?' was released in 1979 on the 'Beggars Banquet' record label.Curiously, it appears to be a miss-press in that 'Are Friends Electric?' plays on both sides of the record.
The label on the B Side is correct, in that it states it is 'We Are So Fragile?'
However the matrix number on the B Side is the same as that for the A Side - BEG 18 A1. So, we literally do have a double A-sided record here - with the same song appearing on both sides! Both sides are in an excellent condition and both play extremely well.
The sleeve, meanwhile, has an impression of the record to both the front and the back.
However, there are no tears or splits and it is, otherwise, in a good condition.
From research carried out, we can find no instance of such a miss-pressing having occurred before. Therefore, this particular recording may be extremely rare! supreme supremewidgets
