Description
You are bidding on a first pressing of the great Steely Dan album "Gaucho". The runout of Side "a" is MCA-2469-MD-1 plus other letters, including "edp". It also says "Masterdisk" and "RL". The runout of Side "b" is MCA-2470-MD1 plus other letters, including "edp". It also says "Masterdisk" and "RL". The "RL" letters indicate pressing by "Robert Ludwig. The letters indicating the sides of the record are in lowercase. This is one of the most desirable pressings of this record. I am not an expert at grading records, but it probably grades somewhere between EXC+ and NM-. The only flaw I can visually see is a relatively long (hardly detectable, but there) light scuff or scratch on one side. I test played the entire record on my (high end) turntable and cannot hear any evidence of the light scratch of scuff. It sounds fantastic, with the Ludwig sound for which he is famous (open and defined). The sleeve shows light wear. Included is the cardboard inner record sleeve (see photos). Sold only to continental USA.
