Gianandrea Gavazzeni conducting Orchestra and Chorus of theMaggio Musicale Fiorentino.

With Mario del Monaco, Anita Cerquetti, Cesare Siepi and many others.

UK Decca stereo-pressing with Ed1 grooved black & silver wideband labels, presumably from the early 60s.

3LP box with booklet. Article-No. SXL 2025-27.

1E (2x), 1K, 2E, 3K, 4K stampers


  • Condition Box: Strong EX. Light storage wear.

  • Condition Vinyl: EX to NM. Played once or twice, a couple of faint paperscuffs visible under strong light.

         One side has a visible hairline scratch, but fortunately playing this with two different pick-ups did not result in major problems.

         Just some light surface noise, no repetitive tics.

  • Condition Bookletlet: EX. Light storage wear.

A note about my record-grading:

I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.

My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
