Description
This auction is for an original,rather scarce,1965 Pontiac GTO promo copy of GeeTO TIGER! of which I am the original owner.It is a white label 45 RPM record with a fold-out color picture jacket/ sleeve.Both the record and it's jacket have been carefully stored in my smoke-free home for over 56 years.
I have graded the record as Near Mint and as can be seen in the photos,the labels on both sides are in perfect condition with no writing,dirt,fading,tears etc.and the hole in the middle shows absolutely no wear.I played this record only ONCE and stored it ever since.The Near Mint grade is evident by the pristine condition of the vinyl grooves on the record,you cannot tell it's been played at all,also there are no visible scratches or damage of any kind.
I have graded the fold-out color picture jacket/sleeve as Very Good Plus + because of its vibrant colors,perfect fold out seam,no tears,no mildew,no stains,no writing,no cigarette smoke smell and overall excellent condition.Please note the sleeve is an integral part of the jacket,it did not have a removable sleeve.
Conditions detracting from a higher grade for the jacket include: two very small corner creases on opposite corners of the jacket,a slight ring impression from the record on the rear jacket,hardly noticeable on the front jacket and a small one inch seam split at the top center of the jacket/sleeve which is only noticeable if you look carefully.(see close up photo number 12)
