Mega Rare LP of Gene Ammons - All Star Sessions (Prestige 7050 - mono) 1950s yellow and black labels with Bergenfield NJ address, RVG and deep groove on both sides. Ammons meets up with a who's who of modern jazz including Art Farmer, Lou Donaldson, Freddie Redd, Kenny Clarke and Sonny Stitt in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in solid VG+ condition with a few marks that may make a bit of noise - not for the audiophile, but certainly not trashed either - actually pretty nice for an LP of this vintage. The cover is in also in solid VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO writing, NO splits, NO tape, NO stickers, NO stamps. Not perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore?
