Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-etched pressing of Gene Ammons “Jammin’ with Gene” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7060.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The laminated West 50th St. cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout ; the top seam has a 1 ½” closed break at the spine and a 2” repair at the opening; light discoloration at the bottom right corner of the back slick.  Personnel include Donald Byrd, Jackie McLean, Art Farmer, Doug Watkins, Mal Waldron, and Art Taylor.  $150.00.
