Gene Krupa Buddy Rich "The Original Drum Battle" Framed and Signed + EXTRAS
First of all I will say that I have either misfiled or lost the COA. However there are numerous samples of the artists autographs available here on eBay or on the internet for comparison. I've included a couple for reference.
Aside from the obvious significance of this recording please note that both of the drummers are shown as left-handed on the album cover. Anyone who is familiar with Buddy and Gene know they are right-handed players. This is a simple mistake of flipping the negatives. Since I am a drummer I was definitely interested in getting the album, and the errata was also a main reason for acquiring it. Please note that within the framed album I also included a print showing the drummers correctly as right-handed.
The Extras:
- Knowing that the album would be framed I made a CD copy. I am including it with the original Signed LP. The CD is a copy of the LP up for bid.
- Mel Torme's book, The Life of buddy Rich - "TRAPS THE DRUM WONDER"
- Gene Krupa's 'Drum Method'. This book is signed By Gene.
