Gene Krupa Trio 3/11/1945 3 Recordings Lampligher Jam Sessions 78 metal discs
For Sale today:
One lot of three 12 inch metal 78 records apparently form the recording of a Jam Session on March 11, 1945.
It is apparent that the Gene Krupa Trio is on the recording and 'The Six Ace Jazz men' recorded at Associated Studios in Hollywood, California.
This is most likely one of the Lamplighter Jazz Sessions that were hosted by jazz writer Ted Yerxa.
I am not sure if this was released anywhere. The discs are the metal recording disks of the period. I have not played any of the recordings as I am a book guy and do not have a record player anymore. So, whoever buys this will have a nice surprise of who the Six Jazz Men are. Upon visual inspection the recordings appear to be undamaged, I could not see any scratches.
