Gene Vincent (& The Blue Caps) - Lot of 9 UK Original "Capitol" 7" Singles. 1956-1960


This is a great loot of UK original "Capitol" 7" Singles from 1956 to 1960. The records all have mauve Capitol labels with a 4 pronged rounded centre. They all come with their original Capitol paper sleeve. All have been play tested & playback is generally very good. I have listed them individually:


1. Bluejean Bop/ Who Slapped John (45-CL 14637 UK 7" 1956)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light & a couple of light marks. Good++ condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show light to mild spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

2. Dance To The Bop/ I Got It (45-CL 14808 7" 1957)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light & a couple marks. Good condition. There is a small initial on the A-side label. otherwise, mild spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

3. Rocky Road Blues/ Yes I Love You, Baby (45-CL 14908 UK 7" 1958)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, & a couple of light marks. Good+ condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show light to mild spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG condition. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

4. Git It/ Little Lover (45-CL 14935 UK 7" 1958)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are some moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. Good++ condition. There is a period "ET" tax code stamp pn the A-side label. Otherwise, light to mild spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

5. Who's Pushin' Your Swing/ Over The Rainbow (45-CL 15000 UK 7" 1959)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are a fair amount of sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. Good+ condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show light to mild spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Good+ to VG overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the quieter places. There is some more moderate intermittent crackle at the very start, & near the end, of the A-side. The company paper sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

6. Summertime/ Frankie & Johnnie (45-CL 15035 UK 7" 1959)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. The labels are in VG condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG+ overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light or mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

7. Wild Cat/ Right Here On Earth (45-CL 15099 UK 7" 1959)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, & a light hairline mark. There is a minor warp too. It doesn't affect playback at all. Good++ condition. There is a small initial on the B-side label. Otherwise, mild spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in the quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG- condition. There is some mild ringwear & creasing. There is some more moderate fading too. 

8.  My Heart/ I've Got To Get You Yet (45-CL 15115 UK 7" 1960)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are some moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, & a few light marks. Good condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild spindle wear. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Good to VG overall. There is some light, mild or more moderate crackle in the quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

9. Anna-Annabelle/ Ac-cent-tchu-ate The Positive (45-CL 15189 UK 7" 1960)
UK original 7" pressing. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers.
Vinyl: There are some moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, & a couple of light marks. There is a minor edge warp. It doesn't affect playback at all. Good condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild spindle wear only. I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the quieter places. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light or mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
