Description

Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps

(Capitol T811 UK LP 1957)

This is a UK original 1957 LP pressing. It has a fully laminated flipback sleeve. The flipbacks are at the top & bottom only. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve.

The record has turquoise blue Capitol labels which are grooved also. The 1st press matrix numbers are T1 811-1N & T2 811-1N. The mother stampers are R 1 & O 1 respectively.

A genuine UK 1st pressing of this classic Rock 'n' Roll LP. These are quite rare.

Sleeve: There is some mild rubbing wear to the spine & sleeve opening. There is a small rip to the laminate on the top & bottom flipback on the rear. Some mild wear only. VG condition.

Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and a couple of light marks. VG+ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. Just some light crackle in some quieter places.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
