Description
From my private collection, a RARE UK Original 1st pressing of Generation X 1979 7" single(CHS 2261), "King Rocker", with "Gimme Some Truth" on the B side in Limited Edition Picture Sleeve and PINK Vinyl. The single was bought from HMV on release date when I was building my collection in the 1970's. There is a signature on the rear cover, and although I was at the gig at Wolves Civic that chilly February night (12th Feb 1979), and I remember taking the sleeve with me, I can't say for definite which band member signed it, but it defo wasn't Billy Idol. The visual for vinyl is NR.MINT( having a few minor surface blemishes equated with sleeve removal that do not affect sound quality). Picture Sleeve is Excellent also,with minor creasing and ring wear. Not many on Ebay in this condition and TESTED, so a definite rarity for collectors and fans alike.
All records are play tested for sound quality on my quality separates system (Nad amp, Dual deck, Wharfedale speakers) this one plays beautifully, both sides!
Haven't played vinyl stuff in a while, so, time to sell.
