Description
Gen X's second single released in 1977. This is the OG 1st press; checkout the cool Made in England sticker on the back. Mint cover, vinyl looks NM but def plays Mint and sounds awesome!! Gen X was a pretty DAMN GOOD BAND and early pioneers in what would eventually morph into radio friendly punk then new wave. Who knew at the time? Idol later kind of went douche-y, totally embracing MTV, goofy videos, and faux-rebellion songs and attitude. All this crap established him as perhaps the biggest new wave star on the planet. But we always had Gen X.
Keep in mind I sample all listings on a full Linn Sondek setup and go in LOUD. Mostly original owner/purchased in L.A. in 70’s/80’s from the original Poobah and Aron’s Record Stores in Pasadena and Hollywood. I am releasing my HUGE original punk collection, 100 per month. 100’s of LPs and 7”s remain – check me out! Everything else purchased along the way, including at the back of club tables at places like Raji's, Cathay de Grande, Club Lingerie, Madame Wong's.
